Production Readiness Checklist

Before you can get write access to production, you must complete this checklist and get approval. This applies to both users and applications (SPNs).

Process

  1. Contact Suzanne Beglinger (sbeg@equinor.com) to initiate the production readiness review
  2. Work through the checklist below with Suzanne's team
  3. Once approved, show proof of approval to the OSDU Platform Team
  4. Apply for prod write access — users via AccessIT, apps via ServiceNow

Checklist

Data Office

  • Have you initiated a discussion with the Data Office regarding LRA and Data Viewer ACLs?
  • Are there any required ACL owner groups that need to be established in prod?

Reference Data

  • Is there any additional reference data that needs to be included?

Backup and Restore

  • Given that there is currently no platform-level backup and restore, especially concerning hard delete, do you maintain a backup of data outside the system?
  • Will there be any data generated in ADME that does not have a backup?

Malware

  • If you are ingesting data, does it come from an Equinor approved device?

Shared Data Coordination

  • For any data-related tickets we receive, where should they be forwarded? (e.g., ServiceNow, email)

  • Data Office ACL Principals
    • Reference Data and Master Data
      • Access to reference and master data that is public or internal will be managed through the designated ACL: data.office.global.viewers
    • Work Product Component
      • For data classified as Internal, two ACLs must be applied: data.office.country.viewers and data.office.asset.viewers
